Isometric games
Isometric games are another most popular type of 2D animation where the camera angle is on an angle and the camera is stayed on that angle for the entire game even thought the player is moving. Diablo is one of the popular isometric games because it allows the player to play constantly. I chose Diablo because it is a popular game and is the only isometric game i can think of
Abstract games
2D animation is used in abstract games and require moving shapes and making patterns. Tetris is the most popular abstract game and has been since 1984. i think the animators were trying to communicate with the work because tetris is unlimited and can go on over and over. I chose Tetris because it is the most popular abstract game out.
Music videos
This music video is created by using stop motion by filming a frame by frame. The animators have a connection with the work because there aren't that many music videos that are filmed by this, this makes this different to every other music video, It would take a while to film this and edit it all together.
Advertising
2D animation is used in adverts to make the advert more different to the other adverts. 2D animation in adverts might be used to advertise a child's or family product, this would also be cheaper because you wont have to pay for actors to come in and film. I chose this advert because it was a good advert and it really shows what you can do with 2D animation.
Mobile Phone app
2D animation is used quite a lot in mobile phone apps. i hose this because the animation in this is good and the animators must have put a lot of animation in to make this.
Website Banners
For the banner 2d animation is used to make it look like a tap with water running, I think the animators have used this to warn people to wash there hands because of bacteria, i chose this banner because it looks like a good animation and it caught my eye.
